Beautiful! I particularly like #5. It makes me think of the landing strip for aliens in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind."

For me, the people on the dock, and their surroundings, are a little too brightly lit, detracting from nature's beauty. However, I do very much like the idea of someone sitting on the dock in contemplation of the awesome scene around them.

Googling "night sky with people lit" shows quite a few in silhouette, and several where the humans and lighted areas are smaller in the frame - just as food for thought next time out

#5 does remind me of that landing strip! And the person on the dock is me. I only had a single flashlight and couldn't figure out how to defuse the light with anything on hand in the camper. But I sure had some beautiful sky's to play with each night.

We spent the last week camping and fishing at Holter Reservoir in Wolf Creek MT. I played around with night photography using a flashlight to help light up the foreground, never tried this before so comments and critique welcome.

Nikon D500, Sigma 18-50 lens, used the timer on the camera with a 30 second delay

We spent the last week over at Holter Reservoir in Wolf Creek MT to fish. I was able to catch a few eagles chasing another one for a rainbow trout lunch! We were in the boat so I am amazed that these turned out as good as they did.

My camera and lens were in the shop and Nikon did an excellent job getting it fixed. Nikon D500 with Nikor 200-500 lens

Downloads do look better.

Since my camera has been in the shop, I took a class on using curves in PS. Was fun learning new ways of doing things and there is so much curves can do! Here is a before and after from me playing. The class was from the PS Summit classes that were available back in November, I was able to record a few of them and am just now getting to watch them.

Watched the curves one about 3 times just so I could figure out and remember how to do the things I learned. Probably going to have to watch it a few more times

Used nothing but the curves tool in PS and the spot healer to remove dirt spots

I refuse to use them as well as TikTok. I also look for USA products first before purchasing something, if I can get USA made even for a little more money, it's worth it to me to spend the extra.
