I live under one of the approaches to Los Angeles International Airport, and see multiple contrails on clear days.
The first two are fading contrails, as Joecichjr says.

When you see a number of long lasting "contrails" take a photo and note the time. The next day, take a shot of the same airspace at the same time and see if it matches. Commercial flights at high altitudes are usually close to the same route, time, and altitude. I hope that you will be able to see the sky soon.

As a side bar: Back in the 1950's, a strange event occured. A group of B-36 bombers at Ellstrom air base at Fairbanks AK. started up engines at the same time. The ground level temperature was about 40 below zero. The contrails from the engines created a whiteout that caused cancellation of the mission.

The first two images were taken at 12:16 p.m. and 12:24. Air temp was low 70's. They are of the same not a contrail. The third image is of a contrail taken at 12:57. Could someone explain the difference to me?

There were no natural clouds in any of the photos submitted. I have been associated with aviation since the age of fourteen when I worked at the Detroit City Airport as an aircraft polisher and mechanics helper. Four years of fighter fire control systems. A year plus with Convair on F102 fire control system. Two years as a tech rep on fire control systems. Six years as a field engineer with General Precision/Link on various flight simulators, Including the Apollo Mission Simulator at MSC Houston. Next came two years at American Airlines as Link field engineer on their first digital flight simulator which culminated in my joining the airline where I remained for 26 years in the simulator engineering group at their Flight Academy.

Ten days later. same time and shooting position. It was about the same temperature. Why no contrails? Have they stopped flying?

You seem to be on my frequency. No one commented on the "ice falling to the ground" If you are interested in coal ash, google "the Dan River tragedy". Another reason why coal ash is considered to be what they are dumping at 45,000 feet.

Beautiful contrails tens of miles long: The ice particles descending to the ground, getting wider as time passes. But I could be wrong.

The two black triangular objects are the stars of this area of the moon and could be regarded as of similar design to the black triangles seen by many in the skies of our planet. See Google and enter TR3b. The "TR3b over Paris" is a real treat.

Nope, still can't find it. Maybe you circle it and post again...

If you are referring to the arrow, it's in the center of the image. Where ever the arrow is placed, it's lunar coordinates will be indicated in latitude and longitude in the bottom/left window on every image shown in Quickmap.

If more people became familiar with Quickmap and how to use it, instead of insulting my intelligence, we might have a better relationship on UHH. I became very interested in the moon due to my work on the Surveyor and Apollo projects. Prior to those, the Moon was just a bright light in the night sky.

I did when I photographed the screen. Here's the complete photo as it was seen on the quickmap site. this one includes Lunar coordinates on the bottom left so you can find it again. fun to look at in double download.

You've been reposting your moon crater pics, as well as your "chemtrail" pics, for 6 years now and have yet to get one poster to believe in your conspiracy theories or see anything resembling what YOU claim to see.

Time to give up?

Never give up what you believe to be true. I see, I think, I conclude.

O.K. Ed. How would you account for the change of albedo (reflectivity of the lunar surface) due to agitation? Could it be by movement of the triangular objects?

See if you can see the parabolic dish about 200 feet behind the top triangle. Double download reveals some interesting stuff.
