I agree that sometimes constant bad news can "overload our circuits" and make us prone to depression, despair and despondency. This is illustrated most recently by one of the ER physicians, Lorna Breen MD, at the Presbyterian Hospital in NYC. She was beautiful, bright and successful. The constant stream of Covid 19 patients and high death rate was more that she could bear. She committed suicide on April 26. So sad that we allow negative news to short-circuit our moods.
I suggest looking at one of my most favorite TED talks on Happiness through personal interventions such as a daily focus session on things that we are grateful for. Please review this talk by Shawn Achor

Hello,
A wonderful spot to shoot the bridge from the opposite perspective of the Marin headlands is at the foot of the bridge at Baker Beach. Fantastic view of the bridge from water's edge.
Looks like you've invested a LOT more than a "tuppence a bag" to feed those birds! Have any tumblers?
Great shot Pappa! Beautiful granddaughters!
Great project. It is interesting to see your kids' lives sped up like this. Nicely done! It does bring out a certain amount of nostalgia wondering how our actions, experiences as a family, talks together, etc have contributed to our kids' growth and development.
Didn't you see "Up?" "Squirrel!" š
Congratulations on the accomplishments of your wonderful family! It is obvious where you place your priorities. I can see the buttons popping off your chest from here! "No other success can compensate for failure in the home" rings true.
