Beautiful landscapes.
The last two are my favorite.
How I wish I could breath that air and enjoy the silence of those beautiful surroundings.
Very nice indeed. I love the rain drops , gives a certain feeling
Well, you have impressed me :)
Looks very good, and surely the best thing to have around a bonfire somewhere :D
Well done Jerry

Backup's/recovery is something a lot of people don't take serious until shit hits the fan
I've been stressed before. That extra external drive, is my insurance over the insurance. So I share your thought
Glad to hear it worked out for you

What do you do about focusing? My camera simply won't shoot because it says it hasn't achieved focus.
maybe you missed my answer earlier, but you should look into manual focus and set your lens to infinity for example. That's how I mostly do it in the pitch black. I always have a little headlamp/torch so I can fiddle with the settings on the lens
maybe this tutorial may help

Get well soon Mike
Wish you the best of luck and hope to see you running in the fields soon
another tip , is to use manual focusing.
You may have problems focusing in the dark and therefore manual is the best option if you're not using using any light ahead to light your background.

Good shots, catalint! I'm in love with Kokolone! He looks so much like my Oreo except Oreo's nose is black.
Happy to hear that Kokolone has another brother from another mother :D
I would be glad to show a picture of Oreo to my niece if you have. Kokolone is like her little child to her. They have a special bond from what I've seen.

Beautiful shots, Caitlin! I love the rain drops on the flowers!
I was afraid all the flowers would be beaten to the ground as there was a heavy rain like I've never seen before.
The morning after I was running happy with my camera to catch those raindrops on the flowers. It proves how strong they are and how fast they can recover.

What a neat place! It looks like great fun for the kids...and I'd probably enjoy it as much as they! Good shots, Caitlin!
Not only for kids :)
The park is a combination of amusement park and Lego displays. It's fun to be a family in this park. A little for everyone.
Thou a little expensive, but for my kids smiles it's worth it.
Thank you for kind words and glad I could share a little from my birthplace with you.

Rumor has it he's in the woods testing his D850, he complained over his famous portrait to be too distorted

good link mrjcall
I consider myself good to self teaching, and what defines most of my knowledge is the amount of time I used to try and fail and search for knowledge. Read and learn.
A lot of the knowledge often I get from experience and make my own opinions and I back them up with articles on the web. As most times a link or two appears on a subject I've been wondering about, and when I read them give me a good feeling about myself. No matter if I've been on the subject before, there will always be a fair amount of new useful information. Even I know well why I shoot raw and post process, I've still got some new key notes from this article as well.
So thank you again for posting
Catalin.
