real good education costs money. when I first got lightroom I did all the free tutorials{ 2 to 3 years} just could not get a grip , until I paid for the classes at " creative live" they took me from beginning to the end, wish I had not tried to save money and just bit the bullet earlier!! https://www.creativelive.com/class/adobe-lightroom-cc-for-beginners-jared-platt

I have had lightroom for a long time, and had a hard time figuring it out, I did all the links and youtube , it never clicked. it never was more than a 3 year old trying to fly an F16.. I tried several times {there are a lot of components to LR} finally quit jacking around and signed up for www.creativelive.com and bought a couple lightroom tutorials, lightroom 101 etc. they helped me to actually understand lightroom {still can't fly the F16, but can taxi it!!} this is what worked for me. good luck

do not know what or who "ne 1" is, I searched user names and did not find that person,
anyways I have one I bought new a couple years ago that i outgrew , it looks like it just came out of the box, it is in new condition, I quit using it because I upgraded.
I used it on my D3200 for about 6 months, until I upgraded my camera. went to FX. I priced them on eBay they are going from $250 to $1150 US.
I will take $750 for it and I will pay shipping in the lower continental usa. with insurance. not really fired up to sell it but it has been sitting in a padded pelican case for a year and a half in my closet. it is a US version lens US56049316 ser# {this price is not negotiable and am apprehensive to sell it} i will take photos of it, but will have to do it tommorow

I have recently enrolled in the Lightroom monthly payment program. In doing so and with past efforts to manage my photos I have ended up with a large group of duplicate and in some cases triplicate photos and need to cull them. I know plug ins are available for Lightroom that will remove the duplicates and I have downloaded a trail version of them. But, when I go into Lightroom I can’t find the plug ins or the location were they might reside. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I’m going to Alaska on a Pr___ss cruise ship and I’m not sure how close to the ship is allowed to the glaciers, whales, etc. Has anyone been on one of these and what would be the best gear to take. Tripod, monopod, nopod? I have Tamron 24-70 G2, 150-600 G2 (am thinking about getting a Tamron1.4 teleconverter),Tamron 70-300. I also have Canon 10-18, 18-55, 24mm. Any suggestions would be helpful as I would like to travel light. Thanks in advance!

me and my wife went, we get pretty close, but is actually further away that you think. I used my 24-70mm most of the time on my DF! great time, I would love to do it again, here is a photo at 24mm , I took a 150-600mm and never used it

The idea of shooting in RAW makes me apprehensive, mainly due to me being told I am color blind with REDS, GREENS, BROWNS, this presents a NO Confidence in my Post Processing ability to produce a accurate Image.

this will be a great camera for events that they do not allow "professional" cameras, {ie. removable lenses} but i am sure they will black list these.

click on the "users name" next their photo and you will then see a "send private message" click on that to send private message. and as stated by "CHG CANON" it is best to use paypal, i have taken a check before , but waited until i got it cashed before sending product. at least with paypal you have a course of action if anything happens, good luck
