Great photos. I can't believe they are working during a lightning storm.
Nice. Did you use any noise reduction software?
Nice, I think it would look great in BW.
Read Rockwell review. Get a 24mm f2.8 af or af d if you need the chip for flash distance. The af is the same glass and will be cheeper. I have one and it works great.
This was the sunset last night at Beaver Island State Park. It was taken with my Samsung S9 Cell Phone. I usually use a Nikon D7100 but did not have it. I think the phone did a fair job. Download for best view and comment.
Took a ride on Friday to look at the Fall foliage. The Genesee River passes through the park. I think we may have seen more colors if we had waited a week.
I use a Sigma 17-50 f2.8 on my D7100. It is tack sharp and can be had for a reasonable price. When wanting a little more reach I use a Nikon 28-105 AF D lens. It is also very sharp and can be had used in good condition for a little over $100.
This is a 5 exposure HDR. I think we are seeing some color from the Western Wildfires.
This is a 5 exposure HDR processed in Nik HDR Efex Pro 2. The original I posted is the center exposure. I see no object in posting the other 4 as they are just over and under exposures. Exposures were all 1 stop apart.
OwlHarbor,
The original post is the medium exposure of what the camera saw. The HDR picture is close to what my eye saw at the time. I saw no reason to post under and over exposed pictures.
