I did not write for eloquence, for a term paper, or for your grade. I was simply putting down thoughts as they came to me. You are welcome to not read my posts if they cause you pain.

Well said.

So difficult to read your rant! Have you never attended school and learned to write in paragraphs that are coherent in thought? Ramblings such as your rarely get looked at past the third sentence.

Hopefully you’re intellectually developed enough to get past the third sentence here.
There’s always some holier than thou clown that appears here attempting to ridicule the original poster.
You have no idea of his background or education and your criticism is therefore appalling.
Maybe you are not bright enough to read past the third sentence, but most of us here are and did and were more than interested in the concept.
Only you have shown, not only a lack of intelligence but a total lack of sympathy and understanding.
You should be ashamed of yourself.

Years ago a friend of mine was commissioned to make a short video for a flour companies AGM showing their flour being bagged. Not too many people perhaps know that, in the U.K. at least, flour is bagged by wrapping the paper that makes the bag round a non-stop flow of flour coming from a tube. She was told she would have to wait around 30 minutes during which the bagging of other companies flour took place. After 30 minutes the pre-printed paper of the company that commissioned her started to come through and bag the same flour that continued to flow, without stopping from the same tube.
This information prompted me to check the cost of various brands of flour in various supermarkets. They were all priced differently, but the flour sold by her company was by far the most expensive, clearly because their name was more highly rated.

I wouldn't want to be on the cruise ship at all. My 10 days voyage on the deck rain or shine of a shipping ship across the Pacific from the coast of Vietnam to Guam Island 48 years ago was enough boat for me.

I think you’re trying to compare the incomparable.

I don’t think I’d ever sign up with cruise line that did not have a really solid reputation like P&O or Cunard for instance. However I guess there rates would be double what this cruise line was showing.

I can turn off these features in my car but it's a complicated process requiring the owner to auger down through several "system setup" levels to do it. I shut off my car's automatic high/low beam switching because it was driving me nuts constantly flicking high and low as oncoming cars approached or I caught up to a car in front of me.
Ah so your one of those that blinds me at night with your high beams or dazzles me when you’re behind me by keeping your full beams on.

BTW hang on to that Fit; I tried to buy one last October and the dealer announced Honda no longer makes them. Probably because it was reasonably priced and had gas mileage close to a Prius. Not enough profit in them?

I really had no idea that anyone might take this other than as humor.

Don’t worry, they walk amongst us. I certainly found it humorous.

For years, my wife and I have supported the Tygerberg Children’s Choir from Cape Town, South Africa. They are rated the No1 children’s choir in the World.
A few years back they went to Cincinnati to compete in an international competition (that they won). On the way they stopped off in New York to give a concert. The following day they did a tour of the City. At Ground Zero the choir stopped off and sang Nearer My God to Thee. There were lots of people there, many of whom were in tears. At the end of their performance there was total silence for several seconds before everyone burst into rapturous applause. It was an incredibly moving moment.

It doesn’t always work. Poachers track Rhinos for many days and if they find it is one without a horn they kill it to avoid wasting such amounts of time in the future.

In the U.K. there are several motorways I can use for the quickest routes to places I know and regularly visit. Traffic jams regularly occur on these roads so I always tend to use my Sat Nav just so I can take the most traffic free route.

In the UK Police drivers have to drive with due care and attention and in a manner that is not dangerous to the public or other drivers.
They would never get a ticket for going through a red light if the above is taken into account. Obviously if there is no other traffic about or it has stopped, this is not a problem. However if there is a collision or someone is injured the officer may by prosecuted for reckless, dangerous or careless driving according to the circumstances. Going though a red light would form part of the evidence, but there would be no red light ticket involved if the officer was attending an emergency.

My grandson is a pilot and his company ordered a number of the Boeing 737 Max planes. Prior to delivery he was given an A4 sheet of paper outlining the very few issues pilots would need to know about.
Following the two crashes, the planes were not delivered. After the lengthy enquiry and modifications his company took delivery of the planes. However, the A4 sheet of paper had been replaced by two days of simulator training.
