gees why pay all that money for a 5d and only shoot small japegs raw is the only way to go
i recently blew the budget buying a 100mm L macro its a brilliant lens not just for macro for just about anything it even came with a leather pouch and a lens hood wow aint i lucky a free pouch and lens hood from canon
i have had a 7d for 2 years now its a great camera as long as you hang a good quality lens off it it hates kit lenses
the canon 18 .200mm lens is a great lens its not a so called kit lens i paid 1100 aus dollars for mine looks like you got a great deal there
dont think i would be sending it to canon unless it is under warrenty the cost could be more than a new g9
i use the old paint shop pro version 8 before it went correl it does every thing i need it has over 1000 applications leaves photo shop for dead
yes i was i was informed after i bought the filter that it dosnt like wide angle lenses its a pity the salesman didnt tell me that as he screw onto the lens
i recently purchased a cannon 10.22 wide angle lens only to find i get vignetting at anything below 18mm when useing a polorize filter or below 20mm when its screwed on top of its uv filter it dosnt happen on my 18.200mm lens the filters a the same brand and thickness eg its not the lens hood why is that
all to complicated for me think i will stick with my 100mm 2.8 L macro lens

sounds like a lot of hassel to me why not use a dedicated macro lens
i recently read in a photo mag that iff you set your camera up on a trypod all ready to take a nice landscape set the timer or use a remote shutter release you should turn off the image stabilizer as the stabilizer gets all upset because it has just lost its roll in life and retaliates by stuffing up your shot well words to that affect how true is that
why are lieca camers so exspensive a good dslr like a 7d with an l series lens at a third of price takes as good if not better photos than a lieca who knows maybe they are carved out of a gold block
a good quality 18 to 200 mm lens is a great walk around lens forget the the kit lenses eg you get what you pay for
