Last year I made a wedding album. I looked at about 10 different sites. I was going to use Blurb, but then selected MixBook because the software was very feature rich and easy to use. The album came out just beautiful.

Thank you very much for that helpful information,

I want to produce a wedding album that I can print and also post on Smug Mug. Anyone know of an app that is both intuitive and offers design flexibility?

Good morning. My wife and I are going to Amsterdam, Bruges, and Ghent. We've been to Amsterdam before and briefly went to Bruges. Never to Ghent.Have any of you been to Bruges and Ghent? We will be in Bruges/Ghent for 4 days. I'm looking for places , off the beaten path, to photograph. If you have any suggestions of unique places to photograph I would appreciate it. We're going to see the Vermeer exhibit at the end of April and making a side trip to Bruges. We will have a car so getting to places will not be a problem.Thank you in advance.
Good morning. My wife and I are going to Amsterdam... (show quote)

We took a Viking cruise to all those cities last year. If you go to shieldsphotographics.com you will find a gallery that may give you some ideas on shooting those beautiful cities.

One of the best posts I've read in years and, as usual, I can depend on your extensive knowledge to be true.
I have used my photographic skills both professionally and as an enthusiast for more than 50 years and have always believed in buying the best (Zeiss) lenses. I am still using my 8 year old Sony NEX-6 16 MP camera body and shoot 80% of my photos with a 16-70 (aps) Zeiss lens although I can afford any camera equipment now available.
I will only upgrade when Sony produces an aps body with significantly increased IBIS and latitude and a better viewfinder as I do mostly landscape and travel photography and post to my Smugmug site. Thanks for your posts.

I have several Contax 35mm film cameras and assorted lenses available but let's start with an RX. This camera was purchased new in the mid nineties and I think it is in excellent condition. The other cameras are an N1 and a G2. I'm asking $200 for the RX.

What are you asking for the G2 (and lenses) and what condition are they all in?

Thanks,

Bill (old Contax user)

Interesting article although a little over my head but the question remains since my camera's dynamic range is 11 stops, and that is the range of jpegs, what would be gained by shooting in RAW?
Thanks

Looks very similar to the Santuario in Chamayo.

Excellent observation. I've been shooting both professionally and today on an amateur basis and actually prefer using my iphone sometimes under ideal circumstances. It's the photographer behind the camera not the camera in front of the photographer that most often determines the quality of the photo.

Good God, you're right, the poor Padres must be embarrassed to be seen in public with those uniforms. Perhaps that's why they're being pounded so roundly by the Dodgers this year.

Nice subject but it would have been less distracting if you had removed the crab grass.
