Here's the deal - in today's world there's no such thing as "sitting still" - if you're not keeping up or getting ahead, you're falling behind. You get to decide.

Quite the animal! Amazing also how well/fast their numbers have grown.

Indeed, on both counts. In fact, they're beginning to boldly walk about in some of the most populated section of towns, even in Denver metro areas. May start to pose a threat soon. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you and it was indeed a treat for me, for sure. I won't speak for the moose but he did go right back to Mnuchin's on the willow. ๐Ÿ™‚

I enjoy spending time outdoors and photographing the wildlife in our area. We spend most of our time in NJ and weekends mostly on the Eastern Shore of MD.

This first group were all taken at Assateague Island....there is much more to the island than the wild ponies!

Let's see what you've got!

Nancy

"Fish and Game" introduced a few breeding pairs of moose in the area of north-central Colorado around Walden a few years back and at a recent count it is estimated that the number has grown to around 2,500 which has spread out all over the state. This is one of the bigger ones I have seen.

I have a couple of 360* cameras and they're fun to play with and make videos for goggles but if you want to get serious about real estate tours you will want a Matterport

Thanks for that input, gessman. While I won't dispute the outstanding quality of the Matterport products (cameras and resulting images), I haven't been able to figure out how to get a return on investment in a reasonable time for the almost $3,000 purchase price. What am I missing? Seriously.

Best Regards,

BT

Well, I wouldn't go out on a limb and say you're missing anything but, depending on your purpose, if you're in a large enough market so you wouldn't be shooting yourself in the foot, you might think about selling your service to a cross section of realtors who might benefit from having good images and videos of their listings or perhaps rent them the camera with a hefty deposit.

I notice you're in Florida. Are you familiar with Ted Peters smoked fish in Pasedena outside of St. Pete? http://www.tedpetersfish.com/

Next time you're in the St Pete area slip out to Pasadena and visit Ted Peter's. He smokes mackerel and mullet and it's wonderful, also makes a spread you can't stop eating. http://www.tedpetersfish.com/

I spent three years in England and love the Brit's fish & chips but Ted's stuff puts the Brits in the shade. Trust me. Ted used to ship worldwide overnight but recently stopped that service, much to my disappointment.

When on a photo trip or mission, I travel heavy. As many as three cameras and half a dozen lenses. Pretty much covers anything I might want to do. However, I always have a camera, even without specific photo plans. When I go to the City it is the Leica D Lux 109 or the DF with 24-120 or 24-85. In the country, more an issue of distance vs. coverage. Often the D7200 with 200-500 or D3 with old AF 80-200, sometimes D750 with 70 or 75-300. The first covers the distance, but is not the best for landscape or other general subjects. The latter two don't have the range, but are more flexible. Always a compromise, and sometimes the camera / lens combination on hand dictates practical subject choice. What do you prefer for your type of photography?

With varied interests and a variety of subject matter around me, although I primarily am drawn to wildlife, I take a variety of gear with me so as to be prepared to retrain my aim at any given moment so I have several "under the bed" type stackable plastic storage boxes loaded for different occasions depending on what might pop up without notice. I learned early on to not travel miles in search of subject matter without the flexibility to meet the occasion, whatever that happens to be, so I go "prepared" rather than miss a moment and have to go back when often the reason to go back is long gone.

Well, since it's a special occasion, I'll mind me manners for the time being and say Happy Anniversary to the Corps and thank all you past Corps members here in uhh and everywhere else for your service. It is a mighty deed that you've done, me lads, and I'm exceedingly proud of you. It would indeed be a different world without you.

Homeless Vet? Where do you get that? Most "homeless Vets" are neither homeless nor Vets. They are losers playing any hook they can come up with. Of course that's only my humble opinion. Based on experience.

FWIW, prior to the pandemic related joblessness here in Colorado it has been noted through roundups and surveys that a large percentage of homeless people living on the streets of Denver are vets who are often mentally disturbed, alcoholics, and/or drug addicts. I suspect some of the draw to this area has to do with the presence of a regional VA hospital in Denver.

As a courtesy we are sending the OP a new set of Apple AirPods Pro with Wireless Charging Case at no charge.

Nice! We all know what "they" say about opinions so semantically speaking, it's probably a "toss-up" but I might have used the word "obligation" as opposed to "courtesy" but the outcome remains the same - the customer finally got what he paid for irrespective of when, how, or why it occurred or was discovered - the right thing has been done assuming the details of the complaint are valid. Faith restored.

What would really be impressive would be to learn that everyone who bought those airpods was looked up in sales records and contacted to correct the problem rather than leave it up to a chance discovery process and just let "sleeping dogs lie." It might "smart" some in the short term but could pay big dividends down the road. Maybe track down the supply source and seek restitution - at least identify the source of the problem for future use.
