Just another after the fact thought, any pictures that are to be special, use two cameras or a least your phone as well. Equipment failure does happen.

I would go into every folder I have on my computer. I don't know how you file, but go into documents, videos, every file and folder you have. I have put things into the wrong folder and had to search. Also if you are doing a search can you find what the NEXT picture # would be on your camera and perhaps you can work back from there?

This information is irrelevant now, but what I do with special occasion pictures that cannot be re-taken, as soon as they are off the card and on the computer I copy them to a 'stick drive' and/or an external hard drive. It is so upsetting to have this happen, but put them somewhere else.
Good Luck.

No problem as the decorations, fabric, ribbon etc. have to be taken off with the glass lid to light the candle. You are then left with a regular jar candle. The clear film with the pictures and message is on the outside of the jar like any label would already be. I have tested one with the clear film on the outside, there is no problem, in fact the pictures glow through. There is no way the candle can be lit with the decorations in place.

If any one is interested, back in November I think I was asking about ideas for Christmas gifts using photographs. Calendars were the obvious suggestion, I did make a double sided calendar page with ocean scenes on both sides and photographs. I then laminated it and it was very well received. But I made candles. I bought the candles, big jars, white ones and peeled off the labels. I ordered clear adhesive to print on. I put photographs on them with messages and personalized them. On the tops I put a circle of Christmas fabric bells inside the top, then tied decorative ribbon around the top. They looked very pretty and everyone loved them. It was not that much work, time consuming but could be done a little at a time. So that was my Christmas gift project using my pictures.

Thanks so much. I could not get the flash to click. On rotating the dial I noticed the flash was off on Sport mode that may work for an active Beagle puppy!!

I found that you need to have all the pictures you want displayed ready to go, sized and cropped and portrait or landscape. Some calendars if you are only putting one picture per page it will be probably be landscape.
I have made calendars through the drug store Walgreens if you have one in your area. Very easy to do online, also Walmart and Sams club make them too.
You can get templates to make your self, I have done that too, but it is probably more expensive as you will be buying a lot of ink and double sided quality paper. You will need a binder machine also.
I would check out Walgreens, look on line.

Michael's is a craft store and much more. I am not sure how national or international it is. I love the store as a lot of women do. I was in there this afternoon to pick up a couple of things and saw a sign that said For Photographers or something like that, so I checked it out and found a VIVITAR 3 - IN - 1 Mobile Lens Set for smart phones. Three little lenses with lens caps and a clip for the phone and a little bag to put them all in. Priced at $11 and something. The lenses are a Fish Eye, Wide Angle and Macro. So I thought I would treat myself. I then realized I had a 50% of coupon! So for $5 and something I got them. For the short time I have tried they are great. The macro is really good so long as you have a steady hand and the subject is not moving. Fish eye for fun, and the wide angle presents a really good quality. So I am very happy with my bargain today and just had to share!

I thought the same thing, that is why I have not ordered it, for one thing it will not match the speed. I just wondered if anyone had ever tried one?
Have a good weekend.

Hello All.
I saw this on Facebook today. It is supposedly wonderful and will make your phone as good as a high end SLR. It comes with a little bracket that attaches to the phone and a little lens attaches to that. The price looked OK but I wonder if it can be as good as they advertise?
Any thoughts?
Have a good weekend.
