I love the 80-400! And with the TC1.4 or the TC1.7, it does really good too!! I have been thinking of up grading the D300s to a D500.:):)
I have a D7100 which when shooting Raw+Jpeg could only get about 12 shots off before the buffer was filled. The buffer on the D500 is great. Happy shooting Erv.
The cropped image is fantastic!!! The Quail image is nice, but really you are supposed to remove the feathers before putting in the pan :0)
Thank you for taking a look Frank. The quail are really tasty, most hunters only remove the breasts. That pan is plenty rusty and holds up well to all the abuse the deer do to it.
Beautiful area!! How rough is the road to get there? Pat
Thank you Jay, 4 wheel drive recommended and when it rains and gets wet the dirt turns to slippery mud. The road then becomes impassable. We went in from the west and left going east for about 45 miles of dirt road.
