Not really. I usually go out and shoot most every day. With climate change and china virus, that has put a wrench into the works. Just 3'-0" rise in water in Lake Erie that fills up the marshes like you fill up a bathtub. The water is so deep shore birds can't use it and go somewhere else. China virus closed down a major warbler event that takes place yearly. And now my Lock and Dam 14 yearly trip is called off because of the china virus. I'm running out of stuff to do. I've made 5 large Proshow movies and my yearly Proshow. So now I'm running out of thing to keep me occupied. I just received a Nikon 18mmF:2.8 AF so hopefully I'll be able to use that at the fall auto auction in Garret Ind.

I went on the auto drive both days this weekend. Yesterday I saw a eagle that was too far out and 2 mallards. Now today what a difference.

The first 5 images are USAC sprint cars. The next two are USAC midgets. Number eight is Don Garlets in 1974. Number Nine is Pancho Carter at Terra Haute. Number ten is at the Fairgrounds Mile in Indianapolis.

Here are a few from my extensive photo archives. With everything closed because of the china virus I'm looking thru my scanned drive and found a few good ones.

I use a D600 and it is an great full frame body. It produced a 24x48 print and the hawk and gull are shot with a 200-500.All D600's have probably been updated already. so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Picked up a 80D. works great, like it a lot. I think the raw extension has been upgraded and my PS 11 cant open files. Opens fine with 7D V1. is this a possible?

Adobe has a FREE Dgn converter that works great. I use a stone alone CS6 so when I shoot a D5 I convert the nef (raw) to dgn and continue along my happy way. Three times I've been to Lock and Dam 14 in January and each year I converted NEF to DGN and I experienced to problems at all.

I always shoot in full-size RAW. If you do, you leave yourself the option as your PP skills improve to go back and re-edit. By the way, I just saw a 14TB hard drive offered for $189. Storage is truly cheap. Go with the full-sized RAW files.

Beware of that price. I looked at a Arsenal 12TB external for $199.00. After I called the company I learned that the drive is a refurb unit NOT new. The question has to be asked why was it refurbed and what happened. Best practice is to never buy refurb or used drives.

I asked about that with rangers who work at the parks and I was told that was a carp. When I shot that I thought someone saw a great thing in their yard pond.
