one, how the years fly by and we tend to look back on those years around 15/16 with such affection,IF only we could go back and do it again !!!

Sorry to hear about your eye sight,
my wife too among her other ailments suffers with diabetes,
so i know how it affects the old sight,but like you she is hoping to get somewhere with photography soon,though you have done it for years it must be an additional chalenge to cope with it or start with it as my wife is trying to do !

Hi from over the pond, oh what a sad thing,to have no photographic memories of a loved animal, it would break my heart to loose any of ours and not have any to remind us of them!

the point you raise about uv filter affecting photo,s, i was considering one to protect the lens as well as reducing UV,but if it makes things that bad i may not bother,what do others think about UV filters ????

Hi just a suggestion,but if you are pressing the shutter button ? ,that could be it,try using a 2 second delay self timer for the camera to take the shot itself,should be clear as a bell. ! let me know . Graham
