Thanks, NMGal. It is impressive. There are 2 main Altars, one in a section of the church higher than the rest (over a street, IIRC).
l-fox, thanks for the thumbs up.
Ourspolair, nice to see you. Thanks very much.
Longshadow, I appreciate the 2 thumbs up. Thank you.

I always enjoy the photos of your travels David. Thank you for the kind words about my Mom; I hope my wife and I can live so long.
Long life is only good if it is healthy. I pray that is the case.
Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany – St. Jacob’s Cathedral
I have visited the city of Rothenburg ob der Tauber in Germany several times, and took photos of this church on a couple of those occasions. This set combines pictures from different years’ visits. The Altar of the Holy Blood has a carving of Jesus and the 12 Apostles, but it is difficult to find the 12th Apostle. It will be revealed in one of the photos.

A nicely framed photo with excellent sharpness. I like it.
They're both very nice. The B&W is striking, but I like the subtlety available in the color version--none of the colors are so bright that they detract from the aura.
The sunset is beautiful. I might have wanted a little more detail in the dark area, but it's your vision.
Nice. I, too, "notice things". It's a gift (or a curse).
I pretty much just live day to day. Before COVID I had a firm schedule of activities that ordered my life; right now very few of those are in play. Each summer I usually had planned some kind of tour(s), but COVID messed that up this year, too. At age 82 (83 next month) I have to be a bit cautious about mingling with others, but I am optimistic about the future. In the meantime I reflect on my past experiences and post sets of photos here on UHH. I do enjoy interacting with the nice folks here.
A very fine catch! Launches of large rockets are always stunning. I have been present at a couple of USAF launches, but none in Florida.
Excellent! Well done. I've never been to Baltimore, so it was very interesting.
How sweet! Interesting coloration--wonder what it will be when it gets older.
I really enjoyed this set! (Are all the place names in Iceland as difficult to pronounce as they appear to be?)
A very fine set of the city. I've been to Chicago a few times, the most recent in 2013 as the begin point of an AMTRAK rail tour to Seattle, WA with 4 days and nights in Glacier National Park (a trip I highly recommend). I did not photograph the same things you did on your walk, except I have a panorama from near the Adler Planetarium of the skyline that is similar to yours. If you're curious about what I saw, you can see them here:
