Wouldn't RBG codes for shades of gray just be the same number for all 3 colors for each shade? Bigger numbers are lighter shades.

I just checked the link, and I was right. (For once, anyway)

I just checked the stats on the 4 sets I posted today. #1 has 1265 views, #2 has 81, and #3 and #4 both have 74. I am guessing that, even though I post links to the other sets on each one, only the one that makes it to the Digest gets very many checkouts, and I presume they only look at the photos and don't notice the links to the other sets. I may begin putting the links at the top of the sets to see if that makes a difference.

Thanks David. It seems I’m on a mission to shoot (100+ year old) rural churches. So far I haven’t encountered anyone at any of the churches I’ve photographed. I’m very respectful of someone else’s property, especially if I’m there uninvited. I would love to go inside all of them, but without member or staff invitation and presence, I’ll stay on the outside.
If churches I find are not locked, I assume that anyone is welcome to go inside and pray. I do, and then take some photos. If they are locked, then obviously I don't go in.

Wonderful job! I really like churches--of any age or type. Could you go inside?

Very beautiful shots, especially in the download.

Lots of good stuff, there! Well done.

I decorate my home each year pretty heavily, but am usually the only one on the block who does so. A few other places put up a few lights, but not the extent that I do. (At my age I have to have my Handyman assist.)

A fine job. The first one appears to be more than just a barn.

What a nice set! I liked them all, but especially the 'weak bridge" with the BIF.

Well, the 21st is my 83rd birthday, and I do plan to view the conjunction. I'm not really set up for astrophotography. I do have a 500mm lens on a DX camera (relative 750mm) but don't use a tripod. Always a guess about the weather here, too. We'll see what happens.

I don't have any published maps in the car, but I do create paper ones from mapping software when I'm planning a trip. On long trips, I take my 17" laptop with mapping software and a GPS receiver connected to it, running in the passenger footspace, giving audio guidance through my radio.

Excellent shots of the raging water!

I visted the park near McLean, Virginia in 2014 and actually posted a set on UHH last April. If you're curious, this is the link: https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-639752-1.html

It's a lovely photo. I, too, would like it better if the right end had the cables to the deck. However, sometimes we get what we can, what circumstances dictate.
