I had a Nikon grip on my D300. now I use a Neewer grip on my D7200. except for the much better build, they function the same. 200.00 difference in price. I can replace it at least five times and still come out ahead.
I went with the Tamron 16-300mm for my D7200 as a walk around. a little wider and usually long enough for my needs. not bad for it's price.
