Beto said if he is elected president, he will confiscate all firearms and we, who have firearms, will have to sell them to the government. He didn’t say where the money to buy guns from civilians will come from. I guess it will come from taxes. We gun owners pay our government to pay us for our confiscated firearms.
You can bet your bottom dollar that the bad guys will not give up their guns. The answer, in my opinion, is not to disarm the law abiding owners but rather put more guns in the hands of law abiding people. Gun free zones have not worked. It is a fact that most of the shooting crimes happen in areas where the perp knows that there will not being people shooting back at him/her. Rarely do we see a mass shooting at a gun show or an NRA Convention.
It seems as though the gun abolitionists who want to ignore the Constitution and state and federal laws reguarding firearms. If they, the gun abolitionists, have their way about ignoring gun laws, I may have to follow suit.

What did the constitution say about a******n. You would not want to go beyond what the constitution says. Also I did not see semi-automatic weapons mentioned in the constitution, you would never “interpret” the words GUNS to mean semi-automatic with 100 round magazines.
A gun launches projectiles. A single action or semi automatic does the same. Technology has changed but a gun is still a gun.
The Constitution does not mention automobiles so are they illegal? The Constitution does not mention radios, internet, television or a lot of things that we use everday. Are all those things illegal in your world?

The job of the Supreme Court is NOT to reflect the will of the people. It is to interpret the Constitution as written.
If the majority of people wanted women denied the right to v**e, the Supreme Court would determine the legality of that law within the Constitution.
It is Congress that is supposed to reflect the will of the people. Each congress person is to reflect the will of his/her constituents.
Each of the three branches has its own responsibilities. Have you ever heard the term
“Separate but equal”?
Read the document.
The dems threatened the Supreme Court by demanding it “heal itself or face restructuring.”
My question is “Does heal itself mean walk like a dog on a leash?”
