You may try adjusting the contrast just a bit, but outside of that I wouldn't want to even try to improve it. Great shot. Thanks for sharing.
Wow! They look almost like toys on a painted table top. Great shot!
Why did the song, "Fire on the Mountain" suddenly come to mind?
Very nice and I applaud your methodology as well.
OK, so I've been practicing.....
Nice dragongly. This is the only dragonfly I've ever been able to sneak up on that didn't fly away as soon as I pulled off the lens cap.
Taken with a Canon T3i with kit lens on Macro setting
Great shots. I've only been a member here for three weeks and have seen some amazing pictures. One day I hope to post one myself.
I think the cardinal in the snow is stunning. Thanks for sharing.
I too have to depend on feeders to lure in my hummingbirds. The advantage though is that I can set it near my window and sit on the other side with my camera on a tripod.
The first was shot from the sports auto mode on my Canon T3i. The second I shot after setting the iso to 200 and using a fast shutter speed.
I like them but they are no where near as good as the ones I've seen here.
I bought the t3i back in may and love it. It's very easy to learn how to use and seems to be built for beginners like you and me. I found a book that's called something like "Cannon Rebel T2i for Dummies" that has been a big help too as the two cameras are essentially the same. The only drawback I've found is the 18 megapixel files are huge and eat up lots of computer memory.
