Very nice image. At ISO 2000 the image seems very clear of Digital Noise.

Thank You Silverman for your kind comment. On My D800 I can push the ISO to 4500 with no noise.

Well, you did it !!! The only time I've ever seen a look like that on a critter's face has been in a drawing - - i.e. an artist's imaginary concept.

Thank You Carol for your observation. In photographing wildlife, you need patience to watch and observe.I have patience. Hence the image you commented on. Most people go click and move on.

I look at all photos as a painting, being an life long artist! This is wonderful. Just look at those eyes!! Wow! There is a wonderful sense of drama in this photo, and the lighting is soooo very good. I don't know how you put all of those wonderful things together on this creature, but you did a fine job! JESS
