Taken this fall at the National Bison Range near Charlo, Montana. This is a single shot, hand held and I tried to get a "panorama" feel without having to stitch a bunch of images together. Maybe just an exercise in composition for me, but the way the light turned out I wanted to share some of Montana's vastness and incredible beauty with y'all. Enjoy, and comments are welcome! BTW, much more interesting in Download...

The view is spectacular, but those spots of sunlight elevate this to another level. Stunning!

Great shot, I see several head of cattle. I really miss ranch life.

Really nice work! That strip of light on the bare hills makes it POP.

Psalm 3:4 "I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and He heard me out of His holy hill."

Lovely shot--I miss not living in Montana, probably the greatest state in the union for beautiful scenery. John

A wonderful image. I used to live in Idaho only a few miles from Montana, where I often visited and photographed. I miss it.
