Identification Help Please (RE: Nikon D850)

I bought a Nikon D850. In the shipping box, not the Nikon box, was a little black plastic piece for which came no mention/instructions. I have not been able to find anything online about it. There are no markings or Nikon stamp on it. I am thinking someone accidentally dropped it in the box at shipping. Can you Nikon D850 owners or others identify what this piece is? Kind of looks like a cable hanging device.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

Jim

I believe that this is a clip designed to assist in cable management. Each Nikon camera that I have bought has come with one or more of them. This one is a bit more complex design. I've not yet sat down to figure out how to use it.

Look on the side of the camera where the USB and HDMI cables plug in.

Bill thanks so much. You are a time saver. For others who may be looking for an answer to this... here is the cable holder in place on the D850.

Thanks Larry Page! I apologize for not acknowledging your post first. I posted the query because I am having a close vision issue making it difficult to read computer and cell phones. Having eye surgery again...soon.

It's a Nikon NCMST. Nikon cable management system tool.

It plugs into the USB port on the side of the camera.

Thanks for asking. I never tried before to figure it out.

Suggest contacting the vendor.

Who are you making that suggestion to?

If it was for the OP, his question was answered, confirmed by his photo of the mounted clamp.

Thanks for this question and the answers. I just bought a D850 and I was wondering what the heck this thing was.
