Well thanks for posting Bob! Being a retired engineer I can appreciate this. As I’m sure you know, pi is a never ending number in the portion right of the decimal point. But 3.14 gets us close most of the time!!

I just read that Pi has been calculated to 22 trillion places, and someone has memorized the first 70,000 of them. Wow!

Update: Just read that it is now calculated up to 31 trillion places.

It would be funny (to me at least) if when they get to about 100 trillion places, all of a sudden nothing but zeros.
