Creative, kinda weirdly so, but not overdone for me. I'd watch out that all elements share the same light, and that crop edges are appropriate, blended sometimes (e.g., distant objects) or sharp (near, strong light).

Looking forward to more! And, congratulations, but you will probably discover that the fickleness of awards pales beside the joy of making a great image understood by other great image makers, as found here.

I’m new to this forum. Thanks for the invite Linda. I’ve known how to change backgrounds and some other basic manipulations for awhile, but this is my first attempt to create a work of art using six different images. I’m really hoping for some instructive feedback. I look forward to seeing your work and sharing mine as my skills progress. Thanks, Dick

Awesome news, congrats on your achievement!

This is way out of left field, but as someone who sails most weekends that I'm not shooting weddings. It drives me crazy when I see a sailboat standing straight up with the sails full.

Again, it's picky, but it was the first thing I saw when I looked at it. I know, I'm too OCD. Other than that, love the colors and feel. If, you refine the edge when you cut something out, and contract the selection by a couple of pixels, then you feather the edges when you cut something out, it will soften the edges and make it more realistic, and will usually help if you have some 1 pixel halos around your elements.
