Just finished up this quilt. Had been in the cedar chest for a few years! Tree top is made with 1/2 square triangles. Even found backing fabric with the trees!

p.11 Could just wrap myself up in one of those quilts!

p.11 Great finds, JJ. Definitely wearable - especially the hats with Irish hair attached.

Appears no bleep is necessary Pat! Upon googling it......seems to have ties to "a great memorable quote from the Simpson movie." Came out of the mouth of Homer Simpson......looks like several times! Bob Pg 11

Thanks, Bob!

I've been collecting green apparel for a while because I figured it might be a challenge to find it when the time came. Can someone tell me who this is and any story behind the slogan? Hope it's not something that should be "bleeped"!

Pretty sure the slogan came from Lisa Simpson, as in Bart's sister.

Looks like you found some nice relaxed "green" moments with some inviting backgrounds. I think we're all ready to begin enjoying some Spring/Summer like weather this year. Nice selection of photos Tim! Bob

Thank you, Bob, and I agree....come on Spring!

We found this “Little Street” (I said alley) in Willemstad, Curacao wearing a lot of shades of green.
Very possible Rolk painted it.

...though I didn't see his signature on it anywhere!

A few years back when our oldest granddaughter was in middle school she played Puck in A Midsummer Nights Dream. Man that was 5 years ago already. Anyway, Dee made her costume for the play.

So she was wearing the green.

It's coming up on St. Patrick's (or "Paddy's) Day and time for "Wearin' the Green". Did a little research and found out there was much I didn't know. "The Wearing of the Green" is an Irish street ballad lamenting the repression of supporters of the Irish Rebellion of 1798. It is to an old Irish air, and many versions of the lyric exist. The revolutionary Society of United Irishmen adopted green as its color, and supporters wore green-colored garments, ribbons, or a shamrock. For this challenge post apparel or articles of green that can be WORN - clothing, jewelry. You can find the ballad "The Wearin' O' the Green" here.
