Hey, D-Train, I apologize for calling you a Pendejo, I really do take exception to people ridiculing others for religious beliefs, I have witnessed a lot of good in our society because of religion, and have not witnessed the same because of its absence.

But let's get beyond that, let me ask you of the equity in my having to accept that a man is a woman or a woman is a man simply because they themselves believe it to be so even though biology itself screams that this is not true and my own lying eyes confirm the same, but you don't see the necessity to respect the spiritual beliefs of your fellow citizens, they also believe their truths to be true.

Live and let live is my motto. "Christians" right to their beliefs end at the point they try try to shove their beliefs down my throat. I had a girlfriend once who worked as a waitress in a popular breakfast restaurant. She absolutely dreaded working on Sunday mornings because the "Christians" would get out of church and go out for breakfast and they are the rudest, most condescending "holier than thou" people on Earth. They would bring her to tears with their rudeness, treating her like she was their slave. We agreed that self described "Christians" are some of the biggest hypocrites on Earth. They tend to think they are better than everyone else. "Do as I say, don't do as I do" seems to be their motto. Christians are some of the most intolerant people on Earth IMHO. Nobody seems to believe in "love thy neighbor as thyself" any more. The world is swirling around the toilet bowl and it's really sad.

I realize now that you will likely accuse me of painting with too broad of a brush, but this has been my experience, and is therefore my perception, and I tend to be more perceptive than most. YRMV.

I have met plenty of those people that you describe and they don't make me feel much differently than they make you feel, but that is not what I was objecting to. Maybe I can say what I said in a different way. If I were to meet a Transgender woman, I would not tell her that she is not a woman, I would not tell her that she is a man, I would be polite and if being around her made me uncomfortable, I would simply leave, I would not express my opinion of her or her physical and mental state.

I just read a news story today that made me think of this discussion we are having here. Maybe partly because it has to do with AOC and her ideas, and she has been specifically mentioned in this thread. Anyway, the article is on inc.com, here’s part of it. I think we can all learn a bit from it.

“Weak arguments start by criticizing the person behind an idea. Strong arguments begin by criticizing the content of the idea.

Attacking the author reveals defensiveness and invites counterattacks. Refuting the message reveals civility and invites dialogue.

Or, to put it another way, I'll listen closely if Richard Branson gives me advice about whether to invest in a certain startup. But if the very same advice comes from the kid who bags my groceries, I won't -- especially if that advice doesn't line up, at least initially, with my own perspectives and viewpoints.

"What does he know about startups?" I might think. "He's young. He's inexperienced. He doesn't know how things really work."
By reflexively criticizing the messenger, we fail to evaluate the idea on its own merits. Sometimes that means placing too much credence on the actual message. Other times, not enough.

Either way, that means we fail to engage in a dialogue that might help turn a seemingly bad idea into a good one.

It's natural to like an idea more if you like the person who proposes it. Just like it's natural to dismiss an idea if you don't particularly like -- for whatever reason -- the person who proposes it.”

Food for thought?

I was not the first poster of this one... but accurately reflects how we the people feel about this nonsense.

A perv attacks my family pays. No question.

Lefties have no values or tolerance of common sense and humanity. Post birth baby killers. Pre birth baby killers. Stay the F away from my family.

Lefties are Jew haters too. On record.

"A perv attacks my family pays"

Gee, that makes perfect sense. NOT! Did you forget to insert a comma in there somewhere?

The rest of your statements don't even deserve the dignity of a response. Are you married to Ann Coulter?
