I'm Joe and I've been following UHHG for almost 2 years.
Someone within the last two weeks posted something about back button focus indicating he/she had recently watched a video by xxxx and everything came together. This person had watched Steve Perry and some others, and admitted they were good, but this new video topped them all (my words).
I believe there was a hot link in the post.
I thought I saved the url to watch the video at a more convenient time, but I cannot find it anywhere.
I've looked back over 2 weeks of the most recent digests (hastily) and could not recognize the post by title (I'm almost positive it had bbf or back button focus in the title, but then again, my memory is not as sharp since I hit the 70's.
I also did a search using bbf and back button focus and found nothing. The only ones that were posted in 2019 did not contain the information I listed above.
I believe someone in this great crowd of enthusiasts remembers that recent post and will repost it or get it to me!
Thanks in advance.

Joe,
Check this link, it will take you to the site where Steve Perry has several videos and one is the back button focus process. You will love this site, he has a wealth of information on anything Nikon as well as other cameras that use similar processes.

Sorry this bothers you but the OP said the lady had watched Steve Perry and for the OP as well as any post readers I posted the link. If the OP had seen it, no problem and if not it was available. It was totally free so no great loss. Thinks for keeping us straight!

Hi Joe
Not sure what brand of camera you use but if is Nikon then Steve Perry's videos can not in my opinion be beaten. However if you use a Canon then you might find a YouTube video by Chad Barry just as good. A link to his video was posted on here recently. Sorry to say I also "lost" the link to Barry's video (I think Bill Gates stole it) but if you go to YouTube and search "Chad Barry Photography" you will get his video on Canon BBF along with some of his others. Hope this is of some help to you.
