Has anyone seen/tried "Olympus Workspace", newly announced photo processing software for Windows and Mac?

No but am going to give it a whirl as one of my bodies is an Olympus which I really like. I just hope it’s not as daunting as learning Olympus camera menus. I’ll comment on its use after I’ve got a little experience with it.

At the launch event for the E-M1X, they said they made it faster, especially for RAW, and less daunting and more intuitive as is some of the other popular software. Some of the traveling pros with the event group said they found it could be used as their only software if necessary. I intend to download it also and give it a try.
Downloaded it last night,
Too soon to comment
Yes, I have downloaded this software and used a bit. In general, it is better that Viewer 3. I did have some display problems with the software. Bands with white speaks and other regions with random white speaks appeared when viewing at high magnification ( e.g. 100 and 200%). I spent several days corresponding with Olympus Technical support on this matter. They were very responsive. The problem, I describe, only appears on some computers. Turning off the use of the GPU fixed the problem. When the GPU is off all is fine. You can be sure that Olympus is working on this. The software is useful for applying the various art filters and settings in post.
Could I use the serial number on my film OM-2 or OM-10???
I have downloaded it, But have not tried it yet
I downloaded and installed it but haven't tried it yet. You do need an Olympus body SN to get the software.

Does it need to be a digital body or can it be a film body?

Good question. I suspect if you call the Olympus Support number, they will find an answer for you.

I'll just try it. Worst case is it won't work.

My guess is even if it doesn't, they may give you a number that will get you the download.
