Gosh Jerry, you live in NY. Eat a fresh one.

Jerry lives in the Catskills up in the sticks. They don't even take credit cards up there. LOL

Further comment re DiGiorno’s : additional evidence the brand is good - a few months ago a news article featured a photo of a DiGiorno truck making a delivery to a Little Caesar location in New Jersey.🙄

I thought I'd try a frozen pizza, but I'd rather not waste my money on junk. Do you have recommendations for a good, frozen cheese pizza - no pepperoni?

"good frozen pizza" is an oxymoron.

However, leftovers from an excellent pizza restaurant, defrosted, then heated in a toaster oven, comes out pretty good.

I bought a DiGiorno "rising crust" pizza yesterday and ate it last night. Of course, it wasn't as good as a "real" pizza, but it was acceptable. Then I looked at the receipt. It cost $8.99! For $6.00 more, I could have gotten a larger, better pizza. The price wasn't marked on the shelf, but others were less expensive. No more frozen pizza for me. Lesson learned.

reheating pizza in a microwave? Not happening. they get too soggy, the crust gets sorta rubbery.I just reheat in the toaster oven.Don't even use the micro for anything but to reheat coffee(1 time).Microwaves do strange things to food.

California Pizza Co. ---- Bright yellow boxes. A little more pricy than most since it sells for a dollar or two more than most and is only 11 oz. I can eat one all by myself. The cheese and the margarita are both very good. The crust is very thin like NY style. All I can say, is try it, you'll like it!
