Took these early this morning. Being a Saturday, there was light traffic, which greatly facilitated walking out onto the road for a better perspective. The shots of the Chateau were all taken from Dalhousie St. (or just off of it) which runs along the St. Lawrence, just above river level.
All photos taken with a Nikon D7200 with an 18 - 140 lens set at 18mm. Camera was set to scene and landscape.
The narrow street is Petit Champlain, which runs parallel to and near the foot of the cliff - supposedly the oldest street in NA. The Funiculaire is a cable car (actually on rails) that takes pedestrians from lower town to upper town, at the foot of the Chateau.
I have included a photo of the Escalier Case Cou (Breakneck Stairs), one of two sets of steep stairs that also take one from lower town to upper town - a good workout for the lungs. The original stairs were first constructed in 1635.
Thanks for looking.
