What a story. Finally vindicated.
That's cool. The gal with the blond hair in the center still looks young.
That is absolutely fantastic. Thank you for sharing that.

I hope a copy has been tendered to Ringo for his next book.
Two great shots to nail down a moment of history.
Of course, it would be a better story if the old curmudgeons in the bottom pic, had been reverted back to their younger selves.
During that same Beatles visit I was a senior in high school and had a part time job in an office building just a few blocks from The Plaza hotel where they were staying. When I got to work one day the elevator operator, just a few years older than I and a bit of a smartass, asked me if I wanted to meet the Beatles. I didn’t really have much interest in them but I said “Sure” pretty much just to call his bluff. He says “Ok, meet me in the lobby at 4”.
So I meet him and we take the freight elevator to the basement and sure enough, there they were along with a couple of other “suits”. We all smiled at each other, shook hands all around, and took them to an upper floor where they had a meeting.
As I said, I had little interest in them at the time, but the story has taken on a greater significance over the years and I’ve told it many times. I can appreciate the resistance these kids met over the years when they shared their story. Fortunately, they now have proof to silence the skeptics. As for me, I’m left with “That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it.”
Thanks for sharing, I like the "before and later" concept. Archival photos make it all possible.
Really great to see! Thanks,
Very cool story, thanks for sharing. But what would of have been even cooler is if they still had the same car from the top photo to recreate their bottom photo shoot.
Such an interesting story .., and of course ...caught on film .....👏👏
