Deer steps in the way of bird photography.

I had my long lens (600mm + 1.4X TC) set up to photograph birds near the bird feeder when four deer decide to eat the seed, blocking my view.

Zero cropping because it was so tight on the deer's face.

All the deer look healthy this year. I think it was two moms and their two young. I'll soon process another of the yearling and mom nuzzling. I just wanted to share the above first.

I just read something the other day about a lot of areas having a problem with wasting in deer which is similar to mad cow disease. I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to it because I don't hunt and I don't care for deer meat anyway. I guess it might be good info for hunters though.
