I thought I'd try a frozen pizza, but I'd rather not waste my money on junk. Do you have recommendations for a good, frozen cheese pizza - no pepperoni?

I am not a fan of frozen pizza either, but try Paul Newman’s and/or DiGiordono(spelling?). Have tried both, but not cheese only. Both were acceptable.

We occasionally eat a frozen pizza and one that we like is Digiorno’s Pan Pizza. They have several pizzas with a variety of toppings, just cheese, meat lovers, and a couple of others. They come in a tray that you place the whole tray in the oven to cook it.

Depends on your tastes, Trader Joe has some reasonable good offerings, grand kids like Elios squares when we are at the camper. We don't eat too many frozen pizzas as we have so many good pizza places around. Certain items advertised as pizza don't qualify IMHO, like 'Chicago'. Pays your money and takes your chances.

Digiorno Pizza is the best selling frozen pizza. You can get it at Walmart and Target stores. And supermarkets. Pizza Hut is probably your best take out pizza. If you don't eat all of it. Put slices in a large zip bag and freeze it. Pop a slice or two in the microwave later. I have 3 pizza take out facilities within a 5 mile radius of me. Caesar's, Dominoes, and Pizza Hut.

We buy pizza from a local pizza shop and order them "pre-bake". They put it in the oven just long enough to stop the yeast from rising and then we freeze them. They heat up nicely and are quite tasty.

Without checking I'd bet I have a dozen real pizza places , if not more, within a mile, all small local guys, all different, semi famous one about 5 blocks away, I have to walk past another to get to it. Pizza heaven, that's Staten Island.

Occasionally we’ll get a few at Trader Joes. They’re very thin crust and only about 10” diameter. No comparison to a freshly made one at our favorite pizza shop but nice to have in the freezer. Many toppings are available.

Ahhhh. New York Pizza. The best, the pizza experts say. Real Italian restaurant style too.
