I have posted many shots of Brooms Head over the years & they all showed the sea in its usual form--as flat as a pancake (great for little kids, but useless for surfing). However, things change when there is a cyclone (hurricane) hovering off the coast. Luckily, Cyclone Oma has done an about turn & is heading back out to sea without crossing land. We will still have a large swell & strong winds all weekend, though. Downloading is recommended.

Great capture of dramatic seascapes. Earl. Whenever I see images of the sea I think of the poem - I must down to the sea again - to the lonely sea and the sky - and all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by .....not sure, but I think it's by Alfred Loyd Tennyson.
