Making this for my 38 year old daughter last year brought back so many nostalgic memories. I was her troop leader for about 1/2 of those years. And now my Granddaughter is also a Girl Scout. (I made this display case last year for her birthday.)
That's Awesome Roxie, I don't know what happened to all my sashes and Patches, Lost in Moves I guess..Pg. 11

Hey everyone, I am liking what I am seeing!
There's some really interesting stories... you all have, and pictures, too!!
Here's a fast swing through the Galveston Wing, of the Commemorative Air Force Museum, in Galveston, Texas...
I did some volunteer work in the mid 80's at some of their Airshows, at Ellington Field... refueling and such..
I might have enough from the museum for a 2nd post...
P.S. The drip pans are for oil leaks. These babies still fly!!
Nice Memories Dana..Pg. 12

Hey everyone, this is my first time hosting a challenge, and I hope you like the subject!!
Do you have any--
Argyle socks or penny loafers? How about you ex ballerinas, got a tutu?
An old hot rod, heck a new old hot rod...
Yoo Hoo chocolate drinks?
R/C Cola and Moon Pies? An original VCR tape of American Graffiti?
How about some old Sinatra/Deano/SammyDavis sheet music?
I am looking forward to getting plenty of support from everyone, so here we go!!
Let'er-rip-taterchip!
Show us What Makes you Feel Nostalgic!!
Hey everyone, this is my first time hosting a chal... (
show quote)
Wonderful start, Dana...I especially loved the picture of the
piano...my youngest son "dabbled" on the piano, never took
a less, but is one of those people that can "play by ear."
It only took him about 15 minutes to teach himself "The
Entertainer" without sheet music...and I have no idea where he
got that from...certainly not me...LOL
Thanks for hosting, and I'll see what I can come up with.

I know I have an 8track recorder/player and I know where that is!! Which I used in the 60's.
I had one too, and went looking for it as well as an old Royal
vintage manual typewriter and couldn't find either of them.
What I did find brought back many memories of my mother, who
passed a little over two years ago. Mom was a very "crafty" person, and
was always working on some kind of project for church or the senior
center.
One of the crafts she taught me was making dream catchers. It took me
a little while, mostly because I have two left thumbs, but as I got better, my
two oldest granddaughters took an interest, so I was able to spend many,
many hours with them coming up with some beauties that they went door
to door selling so they could have some spending money.
Here are a couple I came across.

married was selling Coca-Cola, in the days before cans and
non-returnable bottles...

Photogirl, on pg 17, pics 1 & 2 - all the animals look like multiples of a single one; is it for real or are those pics a photo montage?
