I had a large inventory of bodies and lenses for a particular brand (Pentax) and sought quotes from both MPB and KEH.MPB said they were not interested in that brand. I have dealt with KEH many times and I'm extremely pleased with them.

I have bought and sold to KEH for years. Sales to them have always been at one of their buying event so if it’s something they can’t use, I take it with me. I found their prices to be fair.

I have some expensive lens for sale : Nikon Nikkor 70-200 mm f 2.8 ED VR ll, before I'm send my lens maybe someone give me opinion - can I trust them ?

I have done business with both and had good experiences. KEH sometimes takes a little long to respond. Also have traded in equipment to Cameta Camera, with excellent experience. You will get 50-70% of what item will sell for at retail. I would try selling on this site first. If no luck, any of the above will work.

KEH, MBP, Adorama, B&H are all trustworthy.

However, I agree with a previous response. They will offer you wholesale value for your lens. That will something like be 50 to 60% of what you might get for it, if you instead sell it directly to a buyer yourself (Craigslist, eBay, or through the classifieds here on UHH, etc.)

Of course, it's much easier to just sell it to one of those stores.

Bought a D500 Nikon Reconditioned from Adorama and a 12-24mm f4 from KEH. Had problems with the exposure. Nikon service was useless... Since body and lens was new to me I bought another 12-24 from KEH and discovered the body was at fault returned it with no issues and bought new 500 from B&H, returned the extra lens to KEH after the 30 day trial period with no costs to me. Within the last 2 months I sold a D80, the kit lens and 2 other AFS lens. I did try to sell a couple of those lens on Ebay and after 2 weeks decided to just sell them outright to MBP. Adorama gave me a price unseen and MBP did also. MPB was $95. more. Sent equipment to MPB in postage paid box. After they inspected equipment they agreed to the price they gave me and deposited the money in my account in a couple of days. Shortly after the sale I went on to MPB website and looked for my equipment and found that they gave me about 65% of what the were asking on their website. I can live with that.

I have bought from MPB and they are my #1 dealer for used gear. I talked with a guy who sent in a lens which he figured was a specific condition, he got an email from MPB and they upgraded his lens from what he thought it would be worth.

This is a good place to sell the lens. Post some pics and price. See what response you get.

I've used both and have had no issues with either. Prices are similar but I prefer the MBP process.

I've sold, bought and returned equipment with MBP. They were professional and fair, all good experiences.

MPB (not MBP) is a fine company. They've given me more than others have offered. They trade also.

List a full description and photos here before you go to a third party. Bet there are photogs here who may be interested. Lots of stuff changes hands on UHH.
