Got this, this morning and I think she (the doe) has chosen her mate. Shot this threw a window...too cold to go out! So the quality is not that great. Sorry.

My wife and I managed a large upscale ranch that had several larger than life wildlife statues; elk, moose, bison, bighorn sheep. One Thanksgiving meal time, several cow elk provided the guests entertainment by mounting the large ferous bull.

She clearly does not want him to leave and that's what I see....though I have never seen this behavior when I was hunting them as a young man. Ain't love Grand .

Both are bucks they loose their antlers this time of year and you can make where they were on the aggressor.

I think Tule may be correct about the top one being a buck that has shed his antlers--------but it's still mighty strange. I've seen cows do this but not two bucks.
Good going for through a window.
