Furgie update....
It has been one week now since Furgie had her surgery.
She is doing very well.
She spends most of her time either in her bed or her crate, oh and how could I forget......my lap also...
She has started to do some walking, maybe 20 -30 feet, and that is usually at potty time.
She goes back to the Drs. this coming Wednesday to has her stiches removed, then at that time I believe we can start working her more with her walking.
Tried to get a photo of her stiches which are on the inside of her leg, but she wouldnt let lay her on her back.

Oh Tom, what a little darling and I sure hope she is feeling better soon. Is water therapy an option to get her back on the road to recovery? I'm not sure, but thought I would ask. I had two mini Aussies who had to have hip surgeries and I spent an entire summer doing rehab in a 3 ft. pool purchased for our back yard to get them moving again-I know the surgeries aren't the same, but thought I would ask. There may be somewhere in your area the vets could recommend with a pool (if that is something that could help her) I'm just thinking out loud here, but sure hope Ms. Fergie feels better very soon. ♥♥
