Great story and shots, Brent. Any idea what the movie would be? Definitely odd. Our daughter has used German au pairs for more than six years and they all have to visit LA, SF and LV.

Well Dave, From what I gathered from the people there it's not really a movie. I think it's a TV Show. My guess is it has something to do with modeling. I might do some research to find out more and report back to you. Thanks Dave for the "great story and shots" comments. I appreciate it.

Nice capture. I just wonder what kind of movie they were making??

Hal, I believe it was a German TV station doing some kind of modeling program.
I'm going to do some research to find out.

My mentality on photography is to always be Looking for the bizzare.....odd, and different. Today while riding my bike on the boardwalk at the beach I spotted a film crew filming a German TV program. I was all over it! For a couple of these photos I cloned out the guy lines. Keep your eyes forever peeled for opportunities that randomly happen my fellow UHH friends!
These are best viewed in download mode.

Brent, only along a California beach would one see this crazy photo shoot, "Bizzare" maybe an understatement. DDLs are a must to see the detail.

No Brent, I don't think you understand, there is always a possibility of failure, that's what I think about and it makes chicken out. Ohhhh, the joys of being afraid of heights, the older I get the worse it gets.

Hahahahahahaa Ohhhhh EB, you would have done fine! Under the skirt of the model is a full harness and caribiners clipping her into the cables. It would have been fun, especially knowing it was safe.

Yes Susan, but often times we find ourselves not recognizing great photo opportunities. Yesterday as I crossed over a bridge of the Santa Ana River I noticed the snow on our local mountains. Normally these mountains are not nearly this full of snow. I parked my car and walked back to the bridge to get the river in the foreground. It took some effort but I like the photo and it was worth it to me.
I'm attaching the photo to this series for you to see.

Now aren't you glad that you stopped. This is much more than a photo. It deserves wall space somewhere.

OK EB, I think I get it now......... being a rock climber, I enjoy the heights but I do have a phobia: claustrophobia.......the thought of being in a very tight place like a cave where I can barely move and can't turn around really gets me, So I understand where you are coming from.

Thanks so much SpyderJan......You are very flattering. I wasn't sure how people would react to that photo. I was wondering if most people (especially the ones that look at snow covered mountains all winter) would think this was just an average, so-so photo.

In reference to Bizarre and in line with your images, I wanted to share one of my favorite artists. Just love her work...Kelly Robitaille. Check her out. Her post processing skills are off the charts.
