Happy Anniversary? I don't recall mentioning that.

They already make it. It's called a sippy cup.

This reminded me of a great quotation from Yogi Berra. He wants said that a switch hitter could bat from either side of the plate. And that he was amphibious.

It is interesting. As a lefty I've had plenty of time to note that things like toothpaste tubes are right -hand oriented. Then go back a bit and remember the student chairs with their table on the right. Three ring note books were also an early tip off that the world was not quite right, somehow. And this little journey would not be complete without mentioning trying to write cursive with a fountain pen! Collectively, I think it made us more resilient and better problem solvers.

Toothpaste tubes?

I am learning to clip fingernails with my left hand, in case I lose my right hand.

And the beauty of it is that it can fill in for a rightie in a pinch.

Apparently that won't be a problem since both fountain pens and cursive writing are going the way of the dinosaurs.

And I can still remember in the second grade at a Catholic school having my left hand smacked by a ruler-wielding nun to try to get me to write with my right hand. That, along with several other things, didn't work.

My motto's always been "Left is right".

Well, except for politics...social mores...what side of the road to drive on...swinging a golf club...using scissors...

We have both left and right models in our cup cabinet. I avoid confusion and potentially embarrassing moments by avoiding the handles.

Oh my, both left and right handed. That would make it tough as then a decision would have to be made, and that would not be good as I would not have had my coffee yet.....lol
