Finally decided to buy a new D750 from B&H, ordered on Thursday evening, was shipped in two packages was supposed to be delivered Monday, it wasn't . Tracking says one package containing the spare battery was delivered, it WASN'T. (at least not to me) Tracking also says the other package was refused. It wasn't by me. Furthermore, tracking says it was refused in Pittsburgh, my address is NOT Pittsburgh
I called B&H and they say they can do nothing until it gets back to them, IF it gets back to them. I cannot find a number for FedEx
B&H also says they will refund my card when the camera gets back to them, but what about the package they say is delivered, I know of no way I can prove I did not receive it.
I also reviewed my order on B&H,s web site and the address IS correct

You can setup the delivery for you to pick it up at FedEx who will hold it for you.

FWIW, I would put the blame on FedEx and not on B&H. I have had similar problems with FE and getting in touch with them requires perseverance! Rented a lens from LensRental. Waited all day (have done this many times) because they usually show up around 5PM. No show. Tracking says "No one home". WTF!
My wife, meanwhile, received a delivery in our driveway from another FedEx truck at the time the "No one was home". Tore the supervisor a new one (after I finally got through to him) and he got it delivered next day (they just dropped it at the door even though it was a signature required package).
If I have the choice, I will not use FedEx. Unfortunately, they just don't get "customer service".
Oh, and that is just ONE story I have!

There is someone from B&H who monitors this group. I think his name is Hershel not sure someone here will know. Contact him. Also contact your credit card company. I’ve never had a problem with B&H.

Sorry about that. I wish everyone would use UPS. Every so often, FedEx comes to my door to deliver a package for the man next door. Different house number and different name. It has to be signed for, and he has asked me to spell my first and last names, which are totally different from the man next door.

I get a lot of things delivered, so I don't check the return address before I accept a package. Two months in a row, FedEx delivered my neighbor's health supplies to me. Now I have a note taped on the front door telling the FedEx guy that I am not my neighbor.

From my experience, if there was a problem with a delivery, it was because of FedEx.

As B&H said, they will have to wait and see what happens. They consign packages to the shipper, and the shipper takes it, literally, from there. You can't expect B&H to send out a new camera or issue a refund at this point.

I'm sure B&H will work with you on the matter just speak with a supervisor, if not contact your CC company. As far as FedEx I have nothing but trouble with them. Half the orders I've made online have had to be refunded due to FedEx failed delivery issues. They even declared my address to be non existent which needless to say caused me a lot of problems with a couple of vendors. After about 2 days of phone calls I fixed that problem but they still deliver damaged products and try and go to the wrong address. Whenever possible I request UPS or USPS as they are 100% for me and nothing is ever damaged.

Yet ANOTHER DIRTY LAUNDRY POST. When will it end! "Oh, woe is me, I am so unhappy" Oh, woe is me, I have been taken advantage of again", Oh woe is me, I am having such a bad day, and it's not my fault".
I guess as long as someone is not happy and feels the need to tell everyone on the internet about it their is not much we can do.
What happened to folks who TOOK CARE OF THEIR OWN PROBLEMS without the need to tell everyone their troubles.
It's a shame administration does not stop these incessant complainers from reaching out to everyone.

Ask fed ex for a proof of delivery. That should establish the incorrect delivery address and have your credit card company remove the charge if b&w doesn’t

The reason to post these is so to alert others if there is a problem with a vendor or delivery service. The feedback can help the OP find a solution and gives perspective on the past history of others' experience with this vendor and delivery company. All good here.

No need to bash this BillNikon. Are you getting cranky in your old age. (lol) FYI, I am 67 years old.

You should contact your credit card provider and forward the emails and time line of events to them so that they can start a case-file on it . They carry insurance for these types of events and they happen to all of us sooner or later.

I have had my share of these situations and good documentation with a call log and email collection will help you to resolve it and eventually get your monies returned. B&H is a good outfit and they should respond accordingly once the tracking scenario is vetted-out and the del. driver cleared of incorrect delivery. They globally track their vehicles and the digital manifests each driver carries with him or her as they work their routes. From what you said ,they may have attempted to deliver it to the wrong address because it is a Signable-Valued-Package that would have required a valid signature.

So they will get to the bottom of it in short order. Sorry for your loss...The 750 is a great camera.

Not a bash. I and many, many others have NEVER had an issue with B&H or FEDEX. The OP is laying a LOT of blame on B&H. Which is UNFAIR. The OP is frustrated no doubt. But you take care of the problem YOURSELF.
There is no need to ALERT OTHERS, OTHERS are not having an issue, just the OP. Their is no issue with FEDEX, just the OP's lack of being able to take care of issues HIMSELF/HERSELF.
What, you expect others on this site to solve his problem for him. That's a biggie issue than the missive contained in the original post.
So, your involved now, YOU TAKE CARE OR IT FOR HIM. Otherwise, BUTT OUT.

A more benign interpretation of what he's saying is that if you are in the business of communicating with customers it is incumbent upon you to speak so that native speakers can understand what you're saying. I'm pretty good with foreign accent call centers from India or the Philippines, maybe because I grew up in NYC and have studied German, Italian, French, Spanish, and Yiddish, but many people do have difficulty in understanding callers with foreign accents. Apropos of which, I lived in a boarding house in Mexico City with a bunch of college age Texans and I was able to understand only about half of what they were saying.

Never heard of any problems with B&H! Very strange. They usually use UPS too, at least for me. Their customer service is excellent. Keep following up with them

So you're complaining about someone else complaining. If someone wants to complain, and others want to give him advice, you could just ignore it.

Really! If someone needs advice what is the problem? That's why we are all here, to help. Maybe someone has a similar experience? Maybe they were able to find a pathway to correct the problem and can relay that to that person? Ever think of that?

I live in a remote area and sometimes FedEx will not deliver unless they have a few other stops to make in my area. When this is true they will turn over the packages to USPS for "final delivery" and log the package "delivered" on their tracking system. If this happens on a Friday late, it could be Tuesday of the following week before I actually receive my package. Over the weekend if I log in to the FedX website I will find that my package has been "delivered". I'm not making excuses for FedEx, but sometimes FedEx has to make a business decision.
Please enjoy your D750,
