Got a new adapter for my Canon M50, virtual full frame.
I got the Viltrox EF-EOS M2 0.71 speed booster for my Canon M50. It's pretty darn cool. What it basically does is turn the APS-C camera into a virtual full frame camera. Like I said, it's pretty cool. Using this adapter, I can mount any of my Canon L series EF lenses to my M50 and get results similar to my 5D mk IV without the additional size and weight of the much larger DSLR. For those with an M50, or any other Canon M series camera, you should check it out. It's definitely cheaper than buying an EOS-R.
Thanks for posting this as I like to be kept updated on new and different options, Though I've been very pleased with the Fotodiox EF to EF-M adapter on my M6.
Sounds interesting. Could you do a comparison shoot under stable conditions and show the similarity / difference?

I too have the EF to EF-M adapter. It is not the same, it has no lenses in it. The EF-EOS M2 is a .71X booster. It effectively turns a f/1.8 lens into an f/1.2 lens.

I could but I won't. There are already dozens of sites on the web that have already done this along with detailing the advantages of the 0.71X booster.

That does not make any sense, no adapter will turn a cameras sensor in a bigger sensor!
