Then go back a bit and remember the student chairs with their table on the right. Three ring note books were also an early tip off that the world was not quite right, somehow. And this little journey would not be complete without mentioning trying to write cursive with a fountain pen! Collectively, I think it made us more resilient and better problem solvers.
At the time when my son was in grade school, notebooks were being sold with spiral on the right side when the notebook was open. His teachers were frustrated with that every single time. Obviously, he's a lefty also.
