Marcus Roberts is a blind jazz and classical pianist. He attended the same school in Florida as Ray Charles.

Thank you for posting this. I once did a college term paper on Gershwin and, Rhapsody in Blue. I think I received a B on the paper and my verbal presentation. It did my heart good to listen to this version. Marcus Roberts is truly talented.

Mark, Thank you for that 20 minutes of Classical Jazz. It was enough to bring one to Tears.

Mark, this is quite a coincidence: I just recently downloaded from iTunes, Marcus' "Portraits in Blue" which includes another, similar presentation of Rhapsody. There's also a salute to J.P.J. Yamekraw's historical ode to Rhapsody as well as a take on "I Got Rhythm".
Over an hour of remarkable musical genius for a couple bucks!
Thanks for sharing. And reminding me to dust off my "library shelves".

I had no idea there was such a source. If I was looking for a way to ramp up my addiction, I reckon this would be the mother lode.
Thanks (I think).
