One of my favorites, but serious gallows humor: at Yuma Proving Ground there is a course taught on close air support for ground troops and graduates are titled joint terminal attack controlers. The SOTACC course official title is Special Operations Terminal Attack Course. The gallows part is the slange for the course, “Bombs on Moms.”
