Color. I like the way you positioned the couple to the far right, with the murals leading your eyes to them. The colors are quite muted, with her dress being the only "bright" one there. And the purple goes well with the other colors, while helping to draw your attention to her. Good photo.

I'm going to cast my vote for the B&W. This is a very gritty scene with the scrawled walls, and the well-dressed couple seems "misplaced." But the B&W embeds them in the context and goes along with the title.

I’m a black and white fan, but I prefer the color version because the brightly colored dress, which is the focal point, gets lost in the black and white.

They are both good but like MichaelEBM the B&W has a special grittiness to it.

The ideal I’m told is that pictures should tell a story. Her hand gesture and his head position are telling. The color image allows the dress to show dominance in ‘my’ mind. That’s lost in the b&w. Nicely done, even if I am off base. 🤔🥴

You're definitely not off base. That's pretty much what I thought too but I'm a rank amateur. Thanks for the input.

I like the shot but my interpretation: "Look, dude, I get paid by the hour so are we going to do this or not"
