Maybe that is my problem, too much time on my hands. To sit around and think up these wacky composites.

Very creative.
I have done a few of these myself.

Thanks Richard. I try to find ordinary things around the house and do something unusual with that item.

I like this very much, Frank! It's nicely balanced, with cool elements and design (such as angle of the blue in upper right corner) and soothing - the color - while being kind of energizing simultaneously.

Now, please give a quick tutorial of how you achieved

Ok, here goes. The clock tower was a shot I took a year or two ago of the train terminal in Hoboken NJ. The clock is 6 inch or thereabouts,a neighbor gave to us recently. I photographed the clock with a black background and placed it on a smallinverted glass. I did that so it would be easier for PS to pick up the clock using the quick selection tool. I masked it and used the free transform tool to bring it into the terminal shot at various sizes. I then used the transfer tool to give each clock a different look, by skewing it. Next was the solid color gradient with soft light to give it that shading. Now this part I am not exactly sure but I think I hide the base shot so that I would get that angle in the upper right since i had distorted the orginal image. But don't hold me to that exactly. I than merged all the layers.

Sure why not, and we can throw in a little Salvador Dali too.

It's good to get your subconscious involved!

Lol, not sure how much of my subconscious was involved in creating this image. But consciously I did think about each step. Just the color alone, for example I changed multiple times. Whether to use solid color or gradient. Placement and size of the clockfaces. But for me it was a fun exercise.

It’s productive time spent, just getting outside the box!

Clever arrangement. The first thing that came to my mind was that I would have liked a different time on each clock.

I must say that is not a bad thought.

Nothing wrong with taking time to be creative. Nice work, Frank.
