Where to find lens compatability chart

I have a Nikon D200 and D300

I am trying to find a chart of Nikon lenses that are compatible with above (and hopefully newer bodies also). In some of the reviews (Ken Rockwell for example) there are sometimes explicit comments - sometimes not. The 10-20 mm Nikon is a total no go for example.

Interested in macro and the wider end of things

Is there a published list I can access?

Thanks

I haven't found a compatibility list more comprehensive than Ken Rockwell's

The D300 is the predecessor to the D500. It is a camera that is now discontinued. The Nikon AF-P 10-20mm is a DX formatted lens. Beginning with the early production D3300s, there was no firmware to accommodate the AF-P lenses. Nikon had a firmware for that camera to accommodate that lens. The newer DSLRs succeeding the D3300, have firmware installed from the manufacturer. There is no such firmware for the D300. The D500 can accommodate the AF-P 10-20mm right out of the box. Ken Rockwell's Chart is a good Chart IMO. I've had to reference it in the past. Nikon has one too. But, I haven't seen it.

This is one of the better sites for Nikon Lens/Camera comparability:

https://kenrockwell.com/nikon/compatibility-lens.htm#pro

Some good info there about the different lenses and which are compatible with what.
FYI almost* (90%) any F-mount lens will physically mount on any F-series body. But depending on the models, some electronic features may not work.

*there are a couple exceptions with older lenses that have a tab on the mounting flange.

For the D300. Lenses older than AI won't work and E type and newer wont't work and that including AF-P lenses.

See “Compatible Lenses” in your user’s manual.

Yes but it's short! It's something like follows.

It's like don't even think about using Canon FD, FL lenses on your EOS cameras.
All EF lenses are usable. EF-S lenses can not be used on FF camera.

I use Nikon manual viewer. It is a free download and you can add Nikon manuals for all their digital and some film cameras and accessories. These are the same original manuals you get with your cameras but they are digital and you can use off line. Attached are two screen shots one is where to get the download and the other is a partial shot of mine.

Try this link to start. I think Nikon can answer your questions and you don't need an account:
