I picked up Canon A-1 that I found in my parents garage just last summer in 2018. I brought some film and began shooting without research on how to take photos, needless to say that was a mistake. I had a few okay pics from a 36 exposure roll! After that, I started watching YouTube videos on ISO, aperture, and shutter speed. Then, I fell in love with photography especially, black and white film photography. I'm just eager to learn all can about photography and look foward to the day where I no longer have to think too much about finding the right exposure.
Welcome, we all started somewhere and hopefully from there things got better. You will surely learn a lot here and I'm sure you will love photography more and more with time and practice.
Welcome to UHH Elilee, glad you joined us.
Have fun, learn and enjoy the forum.

Welcome to the forum, and most certainly, welcome to the wonderful world of photography. You are off to a good start. There is a lot of knowledge here on the forum as well as other places such as Youtube.
If your local libraries, city or county, have an agreement with Lynda, you may be able to open a free account with Lynda. There are a lot of courses there covering photography. I recommend the collection, Foundations in Photography by Ben Long.
Here are some additional resources to help you along your journey in photography...

Thank you so much! I would love to take a class but unfortunately, I'm in nursing school takes up most of my time. I was planning on taking some online classes after graduation. In the mean time, I'll check out some books at the library and ask a lot of questions in this forum.
Welcome to the forum. Thanks for sharing your photos.
