A shot from my archives. Taken in 2009 with a Nikkor Ai 50mm F1.4 shot wide open on a Nikon D70s. Just goes to show that the old lenses have a certain "charm"

Fantastic photo! Those old lenses were really built well and I regret having gotten rid of them.

I believe that is an example of 3d pop that the newer lenses don't do as well. Too bad, because those are really great shots.

Not only does this photo show what a vintage lens can do but how about what a 6 MP camera introduced 14 years ago is capable of.

I have one that was made using a single lens coating. It works to perfection and it is pretty sharp.
